Jeff VanGorder attended the State University of New York College at Cortland. VanGorder graduated in 2010, during this time helped start the AAU organization “Cortland Basketball Club”(CBC) where he was the head coach of all levels ranging from U12-U17.  During a 4-year time span, 12 student-athletes from CBC went on to play college basketball at the Division 1 and Division 3 levels.


In 2011 VanGorder was named lead assistant coach under Adam Stockwell at New England Small College Athletic Conference (NESCAC) member Hamilton College. While at Hamilton, Coach VanGorder mentored multiple all league performers and recruited student athletes who helped lead the Hamilton program to back to back Sweet 16 appearances in the NCAA Tournament.

In 2015 Coach VanGorder was named lead assistant and recruiting coordinator at University Athletic Association(UAA) member Carnegie Mellon University located in Pittsburgh, PA. During his time at CMU coach, VanGorder recruited 14 student athletes from 7 different states and helped the Tartans to their first postseason appearance in 8 years. 

Jeff is presently on the coaching staff at Ursinus College and this past season coached the Spooky Nook Raiders 16U AAU Showcase team.


Jeff lives in Perkiomenville, PA with his fiancé Laura and his Sheltie, Phoenix.
