Justin Maidenberg, a Los Angeles native, graduated from Providence High School in Burbank, CA, where he helped lead his team to the CA Southern Section 5A playoffs. He holds a Bachelor of Arts in Communication Studies from California State University, Northridge, and a Master of Arts in Leadership Studies from the University of San Diego.

Justin’s coaching career began when he volunteered at a local recreation center, spending three summers coaching boys and girls aged 8-15. He later coached at Pacific Hills School and interned for the University of San Diego Men’s Basketball team.

In September 2023, Justin was appointed Head Coach for Girls Varsity Basketball at Malibu High School, leading the team to the CA Southern Section 4A playoffs. He previously served as Director of Operations for Cal State Fullerton Women’s Basketball and contributed to the success of Santa Monica College’s basketball program.
