Following high school, Kurzawski passed on a number of athletic scholarship offers to enter the Catholic Seminary at St. John’s University (Queens, NY) where he earned a bachelor’s in pre-law (philosophy) in 2007. He then went on to earn a Master of Divinity degree in 2013.
While in graduate school at St Vincent, he began his collegiate coaching career as a graduate assistant working with the Men’s and Women’s basketball programs.
