Thank you for visiting the official website of Pro Skills Basketball (PSB) Salt Lake City, Utah’s professional basketball club.
Our Academies are designed to maximize the improvement of players with a very intentional skill development curriculum that is spread out over the course of multiple weeks or months. Typically, we have two types of Academies: Shooting and Player Development. Our Shooting Academies focus solely on perfecting the art of shooting a basketball. Our Player Development Academies are focused on teaching general fundamentals with the intent of players improving enough to eventually make one of our Club Teams.
NOTE: If no Academies are available, please check out one of our Camps, Clinics, or Club Teams to join the PSB family today!

Marquis Jones attended Clearfield High in Clearfield, UT, where he ranked 2nd all-time in scoring and 9th in single-season assists. He continued his basketball career at Iowa Wesleyan University, where he was a two-year starter, helping the team reach the USCAA Division I postseason.
Marquis began coaching as the Boys Junior Varsity Head Coach and Player Development Coach at Clearfield High while still in college. After earning his degree in Exercise Physiology and Sport Performance, he joined Weber State University’s Division I Women’s Basketball team as a Student Assistant, later becoming Director of Basketball and Video Operations. He then served as a Division II Assistant at the University of Alaska Fairbanks.
Currently, Marquis is in his second year as a substitute teacher and boys basketball assistant coach at Layton Christian Academy, where the team won the 2023-2024 UHSAA 4A State Championship.
