After earning his degree in Exercise Physiology and Sport Performance, he joined Weber State University’s Division I Women’s Basketball team as a Student Assistant, later becoming Director of Basketball and Video Operations. He then served as a Division II Assistant at the University of Alaska Fairbanks.
Currently, Marquis is in his second year as a substitute teacher and boys basketball assistant coach at Layton Christian Academy, where the team won the 2023-2024 UHSAA 4A State Championship.
