  • Coach James Maerdar and PSB DC run the best AAU Program I’ve ever seen. He communicates, assists with college recruiting and looks out for his players and their families. My son has played AAU for 10 years and this is his last year playing AAU as he’s a rising senior. James Maerder, Director

James has coached basketball in the DC area since the spring of 2015. From 2017-21, he coached with St. John’s College High School at the freshman, JV, and Varsity levels. He served as an assistant coach with Catholic University Men’s Basketball from 2021-22, and has returned to coach with St. John’s for the 2022-23 season. James lives in Silver Spring with his wife Nicole and his son Quinn.
