PSB Denver

Thank you for visiting the home of Pro Skills Basketball, Denver’s professional youth basketball organization.

Youth basketball has a reputation for being disorganized, focused solely on winning, and generally, frustrating. At Pro Skills Basketball, we strive to provide a more professional experience for parents, players and coachesβ€”one focused on organized communication, mutual respect, and personal growthβ€”on and off the court.

 Portrait of Shane Goodrich

Shane Goodrich, Director

Shane Goodrich was born and raised in Denver, CO where he graduated from Denver South High School.

He has over 12 years of coaching experience which dates back to his junior year of high school working with elementary, middle, and high school boys and girls.

Shane believes in using the game of basketball to create confident leaders on and off the court as well as creating a fun, safe environment where the kids can simply enjoy this amazing game.

He started with Pro Skills Basketball as a coach and is currently the JV Boys Basketball coach at Kent Denver School.

 Portrait of Sarah Mather

Sarah Mather, Manager, Girls Division

Sarah Mather grew up in Kentucky, where playing and loving basketball is a way of life.

She played under some of the winningest coaches in Kentucky women’s basketball in both high school and college, and their mentorship helped shape her into the coach she is today. Sarah was given the opportunity to begin coaching as a freshman in high school and has been doing it ever since.

Sarah loves working at PSB because their whole player concept gives me the chance to do more than just coach basketball. She loves to not only teach players the fundamentals of basketball, but also, to challenge, encourage, and mentor young women to be strong and confident individuals both on and off the court.

What families say

Denver families

I played for 6 years with pro skills with coach sarah as my coach. It is really a family atmosphere that I don’t see in a lot of other clubs. The coach’s really care about the development of players on the court but also as people. I loved my experience with pro skills and would encourage everyone to put their kids into the club to help develop their skills and make them into great players.

Rachel V., PSB Denver family

My daughter started playing with PSB in 9th grade, she is now a Jr. The coaches are great and the girls absolutely love them. The girls could talk to them about everything and anything. The coaches make sure the girls eat healthy when they travel, which is very important to my daughter. Thanks Coach for all that you do to teach and mentor or girls and helping them with their college recruiting process.

Nancy O., PSB Denver family

The efficient, professional and comprehensive tryout process is indicative of how well the Denver organization is run. Kids could feel how much the coaches cared even in the tryout evaluation process. As parents, we experienced regular and helpful communications throughout. Definitely excited to joining the PSB family!
