PSB teams from cities across the country. One weekend. One tournament, for PSB teams only. It is where the season ends, and where players see they are part of something bigger.
Most tournaments put your team in a gym full of strangers. Nationals puts your team in a building full of PSB. Same coaching, same culture, same standard. Players meet teams from across the country who train the way they do, and families finally see how big the PSB family is.
Every team in the building is a PSB team. No random teams, no chaos. Just good basketball, played the PSB way.
True divisions by grade and level, so every game is a real game. Every division crowns a champion.
A weekend at the beach that feels like a celebration of the season, not just another weekend in a gym.
Players see team after team in PSB jerseys from city after city. That is when PSB feels national.
Trophies, medals, game winners and a building full of PSB. This is what the last day of Nationals looks like.
The weekend opens with a night of skills challenges, 3v3, clinics led by PSB coaches and Beat the Pro against PSB alumni. It ends with an awards ceremony that kicks off Nationals.
Teams play pool games against PSB teams from other cities at their level. A full day of real games, cheered on by the whole PSB family.
Bracket play. Every division plays for a title, and champions go home with medals and a story they will tell for years.
Nationals is played with rules that make players better and keep every game close. It is competitive, and it is built on respect.
No zone defense. Every player learns to guard, and every game is a test of real basketball.
Games for 6th grade and up end at a target score, like The Basketball Tournament. Every game ends on a made basket.
Players and coaches fist-bump the officials and scorekeepers after every game.
Games are played in four quarters, and team fouls reset every quarter.
Halftime shooting contests let family members win free PSB gear.
We cheer for every player on every team. It is about the players, their growth and the moment.
Every division is named for one of our F.O.C.U.S. values.
Parents tell us Nationals is the event they remember most. Watch your player compete against the best PSB teams at their level, meet PSB families from other cities and celebrate the season together at the beach.
Nationals is the capstone of the spring season, and it is how PSB feels national. Talk about it at tryouts, keep it in front of families all season and bring every team that is ready, at every level.
PSB has offered free agent teams so players from any PSB city can still compete at Nationals. Ask your City Director.
