Thank you for visiting the official website of Pro Skills Basketball (PSB) Memphis, Tennessee’s professional basketball club.
Our Academies are designed to maximize the improvement of players with a very intentional skill development curriculum that is spread out over the course of multiple weeks or months. Typically, we have two types of Academies: Shooting and Player Development. Our Shooting Academies focus solely on perfecting the art of shooting a basketball. Our Player Development Academies are focused on teaching general fundamentals with the intent of players improving enough to eventually make one of our Club Teams.

Dennis Velasco, Director
Dennis or “Coach D” was born and raised in Queens, NY, graduating from CUNY Queens College twice, earning a Master’s degree his second time around. He’s been NBA-credentialed having written for ESPN TrueHoop, The New York Times’ About, SLAM, as well as other hoops destinations on the internet, and publishing partners with FOX Sports and COMPLEX.
Dennis is USA Basketball Gold Licensed, and has worked with them at different events. He’s a member of the Women’s Basketball Coaches Association (WBCA) and Basketball Coaches Association of Tennessee (BCAT), and is currently the HS Varsity Girls Basketball head coach at St. George’s Independent School. Dennis lives in the Memphis area with his wife, Daniela.
