We are excited to announce the addition of 8 new cities to our team with one more (the 9th) to be announced in 2021!
Effective immediately, but with a focus on 2021 AAU/Club Team Tryouts, we are opening PSB Atlanta (GA), Bay Area (CA), Charleston (SC), Cleveland (OH), Columbus (OH), DMV (DC-Maryland-Virginia), Houston (TX), and Tampa (FL).
Our mission is to change the culture of youth basketball, and we do this by expanding our professional youth basketball experience for players, parents, and coaches across the US.
The PSB professional experience focuses on comprehensive player development, certified and positive coaches, and organized parent communication, and we’re excited to bring these benefits to the youth basketball communities listed below!
PSB Atlanta (GA)
Pro Skills Basketball Atlanta will be led by Director Jonathan Mosley and will be based out of the north Atlanta area.
Jonathan attended Cardinal Ritter College Prep High School in St. Louis, MO. He then went on to attend Alabama A&M University (AAMU) in Huntsville, AL where he was a scout team member of the basketball team as a freshman, and later, transitioned into a student assistant coach.
After college, Jonathan moved to Atlanta and immediately immersed himself into the local basketball scene becoming a varsity assistant coach for the St. Pius X High School and coaching AAU.
Jonathan and his lovely wife Lauren currently reside in Lawrenceville, GA where they both serve in leadership capacities with the federal and county governments.

PSB Bay Area (CA)
In the Bay Area, Pro Skills Basketball will be led by Director Drew Heath, GM Jene Morris, and GM Brian Heger and will be based out of the East Bay and South Bay areas. (NOTE: We had planned to start PSB Bay Area last year, but due to COVID we had to push it back a year.)
Drew Heath attended Trinity Catholic High School in Stamford, CT. Drew went on to attend Emmanuel College in Boston, MA where he was a two-sport athlete in Basketball and Track.
After finishing his collegiate career at Emmanuel, he spent the next few years as a basketball trainer, training WNBA, overseas, and college players in the Boston area while working part-time at the Harvard University Athletic Department as a marketing assistant.
Drew currently resides in Oakland, CA working as an Assistant Athletic Director and Admissions Associate at the Drew School in San Francisco.
GM Jene Morris grew up in San Francisco and went on to play college ball at Cal and then San Diego State before moving on to the WNBA and pro ball in Europe.
GM Brian Heger is from Indiana but spent that last number of years in China working in education technology and coaching youth basketball. He’s excited to now be in the Oakland area and joining the PSB team!

PSB Charleston (SC)
We are coming to the southeast coast in Charleston, SC! Pro Skills Basketball Charleston will be led by Director Blake Hall and will be based out of the Mount Pleasant, James Island, and Johns Islands areas.
Blake is a native of Charleston, South Carolina, where he graduated from Pinewood Preparatory School. He then went on to play collegiately, finishing his career at Coker College.
Following college, Blake went on to play professionally in Europe. His career ended playing in the Slovenian First League amongst several future NBA players, most notably current NBA All-Star and guard for the Miami Heat, Goran Dragic.
Currently, Blake is in his ninth season as Head Coach of Goose Creek High School, in Goose Creek, South Carolina. He resides in Mount Pleasant, SC with his wife Stephanie. They are avid animal-lovers who have two adopted fur babies named Rocco and Shia.

PSB Cleveland (OH)
As we head up north we are launching in the great city of Cleveland. OH. Pro Skills Basketball Cleveland will be led by Director Maxx Sweet and will be based out of the Westside Rocky River, Westlake, North Ridgeville Avon Lake areas.
Maxx grew up in New Jersey where he attended North Warren Regional High School and was a standout high school basketball player. He went on to play college basketball at SUNY Adirondack before finishing his career at Eastern University.
Max is currently an assistant coach at Hiram College. Prior to joining Hiram College, he spent the 2017-2018 season as an assistant coach at Centenary University in Hackettstown, N.J. Before becoming a college basketball coach Maxx worked his way up through the ranks of high school basketball.
Maxx has recently earned his Master’s degree in Education and Athletic Administration from Northcentral University. He currently resides in Lakewood, OH.

PSB Columbus (OH)
Pro Skills Basketball Columbus will be led by Director Paul O’Connor. PSB Columbus will be based in the northern part of the city in Westerville and surrounding areas.
Paul, a Trumbull, Connecticut native, attended Trumbull High School. He pursued his passion for coaching immediately in college by working with the Ohio University Men’s Basketball team as a manager and video coordinator.
After graduating, Paul went on to coach at Central Connecticut State University and Kennesaw State University before moving into his current role as the Director of Business Development for Kids in the Game.
Paul currently resides in Columbus with his wife Katherine.

PSB DMV (DC-Maryland-Virginia)
Pro Skills Basketball DMV will be led by Director Patrick O’Connor and will be in the Montgomery County, MD area!
Patrick grew up in Richmond, Virginia where he attended Douglas Freeman High School. After graduating from Douglas Freeman, he studied Business Administration and Education Policy while also playing Basketball at Washington and Lee University.
Patrick is entering his sixth year as an educator in Washington DC. Outside of teaching and coaching at SJC, Patrick is the director of DMV 3v3 Basketball, a youth 3v3 basketball league in DC, Maryland, and Virginia.
Patrick comes from a family of six boys. His mother, Suzy, is a first-grade teacher in Richmond and his father, John, is a sports journalist for the Richmond Times-Dispatch

PSB Houston (TX)
PSB Houston, TX will be led by Director Doug Brotherton and General Manager Brandon Christy. Pro Skills Basketball Houston will be in the West Houston (Katy) area.
Doug attended Marshall High School, in Marshall, Michigan. He went on to attend Central Michigan University, where he studied Sports Management. During his time at CMU, he was a student-manager for the men’s basketball program.
Doug has over 15 years of coaching experience. He has been very involved at all levels of basketball, from middle school up to the NBA. In 2018, he was a Positive Coaching Alliance Double-Goal Coach Award Winner, which honors 50 coaches around the country for their success on the court, as well as teaching life lessons.
Doug is married to his wife, Megan Brotherton, and has three daughters (Madison – 6, Peyton – 4, Taylor – 2). The family currently lives in Houston, Texas.
Brandon Christy was a 5-sport athlete at Red Hill High School where he is still the leading scorer in school history. He continued his playing career at Wabash Valley, D1 JUCO in Southern Illinois.
Brandon started his teaching and coaching career in Illinois. He coached varsity basketball in Illinois from 2009-2014. Brandon currently teaches PE and is the assistant girl’s varsity basketball coach at The Village School in Houston, Texas. He was part of their 6A State Championship run in 2019-2020.
Brandon grew up in Southern Illinois with two sisters and two step siblings. His parents graduated from Eastern Illinois University.

PSB Tampa (FL)
Pro Skills Basketball Tampa will be led by Director Pierre Stines and operate out of the North Tampa (Wesley Chapel, Temple Terrace) areas!
Pierre was a 3-year Varsity Player/starter in his local area of Danville, VA. at Dan River High School and George Washington High School. He attended Clinton Junior College for 2 years before transferring to play for Johnson C Smith then finished his playing career at the University of Queens a year later.
Pierre went back to coach at his alma mater Clinton Junior College in 2008/09 while moving his way up on the corporate level at Allstate Insurance.
Originally from Sutherlin, Va., Pierre and his family currently reside in Tampa, FL. He is married to Sydney Stines and has 3 Boys D’Angelo, Steffen, and Haile. Pierre’s favorite times are spent with his family!
