PIERRE STINES
High School
Pierre was a 3-year Varsity Player/starter in his local area of Danville, VA. at Dan River High School and George Washington High School. His teams won back to back District titles in his junior and senior years and making late runs in the region. He earned team Defensive Player of the year awards. Pierre also played traveling basketball and won 3 consecutive Youth Basketball of America (YBOA) National Championships the first 2 with the Danville Warriors and the final with the Martinsville Red Wave. Along the way, in those national tournaments, he was named Hustle player of the year, Defensive player of the year and garnered 2 all-tournament team selections.
College
Pierre attended Clinton Junior College for 2 years. While there he led his team to their first-ever Region X Regular Season and Tournament as a Division 1 NJCAA team. He led his team in points and rebounds and was named to the All-Region team both years respectively. He was an Honorable Mention and First Team while also being voted Team Defensive Player of the year and team MVP. He earned his associate’s degree in Liberal Arts and finished on the Dean’s list. Pierre signed to play for Johnson C Smith then finished his playing career at the University of Queens a year later.
Professional
Pierre went back to coach at his alma mater Clinton Junior College in 2008/09 as an assistant where the team had a 20 win season Co Region X regular season champions losing the in the Tournament Championship. He also gained a wealth of experience on the corporate level as Pierre worked at Allstate Insurance for almost 7 years grinding his way from an entry-level position to being the Operations Business Process Consult. There is where he drew valuable experience and on how to translate the disciplines of basketball and competition to the boardroom which he created his P.A.C.K. (Post Athletic Career Knowledge) Leadership Philosophy that he is always sharing with athletes he coaches and mentors. Pierre is the assistant coach for the PrimeTime Players semi-pro team of the East Coast Basketball League (ECBL), where they have won 5 League Championships and made 5 appearances and 2 top 16 runs in The Basketball Tournament. Pierre has led, directed, and coached at numerous youth basketball and sports camps and clinics in Charlotte and the greater surrounding area with local programs, schools, recreation departments, colleges and now with Pro Skills Basketball.

Originally from Sutherlin, Va. Pierre and his family currently reside in Charlotte, North Carolina. Married to Sydney Stines and has 3 Boys D’Angelo, Steffen, and Haile. Pierre’s favorite times are spent with his family!
