Kristina Patino is a dedicated basketball coach and educator with a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology from the University of Texas at San Antonio. Since 2018, she has served as the Head Girls High School and Middle School Basketball Coach at IDEA Walzem, where she quickly made her mark by leading the 9th and 10th grade girls’ basketball team to a regional championship in her first year and guiding the middle school girls’ team to a third-place district finish.
Kristina’s leadership extends beyond basketball, as she has also worked as an athletic coordinator, managing programs in soccer, cross country, volleyball, and flag football, and fostering a positive and inclusive athletic environment. Her coaching experience includes volunteer roles such as assistant coach at NISD Holmes High School and head coach for NYS Boys 4th-6th grade basketball, as well as coaching in the Independent Women’s Football League and serving as a co-ed flag football assistant coach.
Recognized for her commitment to students from low-income backgrounds and her excellence in physical education, Kristina has earned a Master teacher rating. Her passion for sports and dedication to her teams have made a lasting impact on her athletes and the broader community.
Our Club Teams typically run 8–11 months depending on the city. Families can expect 2–3 practices or workouts per week and 2–3 weekends per month with games or tournaments. We believe in long-term development, not quick-hit seasons.
We support multi-sport athletes! Many of our players compete in soccer, football, baseball, and more. Just let us know your schedule, and we’ll work together to find the best fit — whether that’s a Club Team or placement in our Player Development Academy with more flexibility.
We offer flexible payment plans in every city. In some locations, limited scholarship or financial aid options may also be available. Reach out to us directly to learn more — we’re here to help.
Not every player is placed on a Club Team, but no one gets left behind. Through our Player Development Academy (PDA), athletes receive structured training, weekly practices, and internal game play — with the opportunity to be reevaluated for a Club Team during the year.
In most cities, we host open clinics, camps, or evaluation sessions prior to the start of the season. These are great opportunities to experience our coaching and culture firsthand. Reach out to your local director to see what’s available near you.
