Our club basketball teams are instructed by experienced and knowledgeable coaches whose focus is the improvement of our individual players, not simply winning championships.

Shane Kenney, Director
Shane Kenney is currently the Head Boys Sophomore Coach and a Varsity Assistant Coach at Saint Ignatius College Prep, where he’s been on staff since 2022. Prior to Saint Ignatius, Shane was a head coach for boys middle school teams at Saint Clement School, where he guided his teams to a total record of 56-14 over four seasons. This included a Chicago Catholic Youth League championship along with two CCYL Final Four appearances.
Shane also works numerous basketball camps throughout Chicago, including annual Prospect Camps for the University of Chicago menโs basketball program, and has been the PSB Chicago Director since 2022-23.

FAQs
Our Club Teams typically run 8โ11 months depending on the city. Families can expect 2โ3 practices or workouts per week and 2โ3 weekends per month with games or tournaments. We believe in long-term development, not quick-hit seasons.
We support multi-sport athletes! Many of our players compete in soccer, football, baseball, and more. Just let us know your schedule, and weโll work together to find the best fit โ whether that’s a Club Team or placement in our Player Development Academy with more flexibility.
We offer flexible payment plans in every city. In some locations, limited scholarship or financial aid options may also be available. Reach out to us directly to learn more โ weโre here to help.
Not every player is placed on a Club Team, but no one gets left behind. Through our Player Development Academy (PDA), athletes receive structured training, weekly practices, and internal game play โ with the opportunity to be reevaluated for a Club Team during the year.
In most cities, we host open clinics, camps, or evaluation sessions prior to the start of the season. These are great opportunities to experience our coaching and culture firsthand. Reach out to your local director to see whatโs available near you.
