Each month, members get a package of clinics, camps and/or academies with PSB coaches, focused on fundamentals, skills and game IQ. It is a great fit for a player who did not make a team, or who does not have time for a full team schedule. It is open to any player, on a PSB team or not. PDMs start in 2027. PSB does not offer them yet.

ComparePDM vs. club team
What it isA PDM is a monthly package of clinics, camps and/or academies. A club team is a team grouped by grade and skill, often called AAU basketball.
How to joinAny player can join a PDM. Club teams fill through tryouts and evaluations.
SchedulePDM events run through the month. Club teams practice weekly and play games and tournaments.

What is a player development membership in youth basketball?
It is a membership built around getting better, not around a team. At PSB, a Player Development Membership (PDM) gives players a monthly package of clinics, camps and/or academies with PSB coaches.

Usually, yes. The membership pays for the clinics, camps and/or academies in your city's package, so members usually get them free. Sometimes it is a discount instead. You see exactly what is included when you sign up.
Is a PDM a team?
No. A PDM is a package of PSB events, not a team. Want a team spot? Players can be evaluated at a team practice when a team has an open spot.
What does a PDM cost?
Each city sets its own monthly price. You see the price and what is included when you sign up.
When can we join a PDM?
PDMs start in 2027. PSB does not offer them yet. When your city opens one, it shows on this page with a register button.
