WHO WE ARE
Ross Schraeder, GHE Director
Ross is a former professional basketball player who spent 6 seasons playing in Spain before joining PSB as our Denver Director and then VP of Basketball Operations.
Ross has guided close to 500 people on tours to China, Spain, London, Costa Rica, and Guatemala.
He is fluent in Spanish and spits time between Denver, CO and Costa del Sol, Spain.
WHAT WE DO
1️⃣ Take American groups/teams to other countries for basketball games and/or camps as well as tourism and cultural activities
2️⃣ Bring international groups/teams to the US for basketball games and/or camps as well as tourism and cultural activities
3️⃣ Help graduating American college players find pro basketball jobs
HISTORY & PAST EXPERIENCES
PSB was founded by former professional overseas players and since our founding we have continued to employ many former overseas pro players. The founders amazing experiences abroad convinced them that more American players should have this experience but at a younger age. Thus, PSB Global Hoops Experience was born.
2017-19
For 3 years, from 2017-19, PSB operated in China, which culminated in bringing 2 teams of American high school and college players over on a basketball and cultural tour of Shanghai, Chengdu, and Beijing. It went so well that we had plans to do more internationally, but then COVID came in 2020 and the world shut down for 2 years.
2021
We began our comeback slowly in 2021 with summer camps in Guatemala, which was an absolute blast.
2022
In the summer of 2022, we took a group of 70 coaches, players, and families over to London. Our 2 PSB teams played 4 games against local London clubs, had a few practices, and did all sorts of sightseeing activities. We also went back down to Guatemala and ran 2 more
2023
In 2023, we once again took a large group of coaches, players, and families over to London where we played games against local London clubs, had a some practices, and did all sorts of sightseeing activities. Again, we went to Guatemala and ran two camps for a week and had a blast!
2024
In June 2024, we embarked on an incredible journey with U12 and U16 families and players to Spain, where we explored the vibrant cities of Madrid, Valencia, and Barcelona, and competed against three top Spanish Basketball Clubs.
In July, our U14 and U18 families and players traveled to London, enjoying the sights and engaging in exciting matchups with four British Basketball Clubs. We also traveled to Guatemala for a another week of camp again!
