Our Long Island Club basketball Teams are for intermediate to advanced level boys and girls in grades 3-11 in the Austin area.

Coached at the Stevens Institute of Technology in Hoboken, NJ for 10 seasons. Helped the program reach the NCAA tournament 3 times in 10 seasons with two MAC Freedom Tournament championships and one at large bid. Played a part in developing 8 All conference selections, 2 conference Players of the Year and one All-American.
Played basketball at Montclair State University from 1999-2003, serving as the team captain his final two seasons. Martinez led the program to a New Jersey Athletic Conference title in 2003 en route to a Sweet 16 appearance in the NCAA Tournament where he earned First Team All-Sectional honors. Martinez can be found among the MSU all-time leaders in assists, steals and three-point field-goals made.
Was all Union County and all Watchung Conference in high school and was an assistant coach at Scotch Plains Fanwood High School from 2005-2008, helping guide the 07-08 team to its first-ever state title. As the head coach in 2008-09, Martinez led the team to an appearance in the state sectional final.
Been the General Manager at Hoop1 for 12 years working hand in hand with all the major professional sports teams in the US and Canada providing video services and as an archive for every major professional league and franchise.
