    Dennis Velasco, Director of Digital Marketing | City Director

    Dennis or β€œCoach D” was born and raised in Queens, NY, graduating from CUNY Queens College twice, earning a Master’s degree his second time around. He is Player Development driven! Coach D is USA Basketball Gold Licensed and has worked with USA Basketball at different events. He has worked Nike Basketball camps, as well as led clinics and camps around his native NYC, Charleston, and Memphis.

    Dennis is a member of the Women’s Basketball Coaches Association (WBCA) and Basketball Coaches Association of Tennessee (BCAT), and is currently the HS Varsity Boys Basketball Director of Basketball Operations (DOBO) and assistant coach at St. George’s Independent School. Dennis lives in the Memphis area with his wife, Daniela.
