We are excited to announce the addition of 7 new cities and 2 new City Directors to our PSB Family this fall/winter (2022) and headed into the 2023 season!
Effective immediately, but with a focus on 2023 Club Team Tryouts, we are opening 7 new cities in PSB Austin (TX), PSB Baltimore (MD), PSB Boston (MA), PSB Chicago (IL), PSB Memphis (TN), PSB Oklahoma City (OK), and PSB Phoenix (AZ). We are also excited to announce 2 new City Directors in PSB Miami (FL) and PSB Winston-Salem (NC).
Our mission is to change the culture of youth basketball, and we do this by expanding our professional youth basketball experience for players, parents, and coaches across the US.
The PSB professional experience focuses on comprehensive player development, certified and positive coaches, and organized parent communication, and we’re excited to bring these benefits to the youth basketball communities listed below.

Without further ado, read in more detail about our new cities and new City Directors below!
Ashlie Langlinais (pronounced Long-luh-nay) is the PSB Austin City Director. Ashlie has had a lifelong passion for athletics and has been an avid basketball player for most of her life. She began coaching varsity girls basketball in 2018 and has experience with training and coaching at all grade levels.
In addition to PSB, Ashlie has been an Athletic Coordinator since 2020. She has a deep commitment to youth athletics and believes that involvement in sports contributes to kids’ overall personal growth and development. Ashlie resides in Round Rock with her wife Jennifer. They have four wonderful nieces and nephews and travel home to Louisiana to visit them as often as possible. Ashlie is thrilled to be joining the PSB team and looks forward to serving the Austin basketball community!
Chris McNeal jumped right into coaching after majoring in education and playing basketball at Dickinson College in Pennsylvania. He has extensive experience as both a player and coach in youth basketball and beyond.
Chris is currently a Dean of Students & Boys Varsity Basketball coach at the Friends School of Baltimore. He also has coached for PSB DMV as an 8th grade Boys Basketball coach, and enjoys training boys & girls basketball players in the Baltimore area.
David is originally from Athens, TN. He is a graduate of Tennessee Wesleyan University where he was also an Assistant Men’s Basketball Coach from 1998 – 2000. While at TWU, he was a member of the team that won the 2000 TVAC Men’s Basketball Championship.
After college, David continued to coach at the youth and high school levels. In 2018, he went into coaching full time and became the Head Freshman Boys and Assistant Varsity Boys Basketball Coach at Scituate High School. David resides in Scituate, MA with his wife Amy, daughter Payton and son Hunter.
Shane Kenney is entering his first season on staff at Saint Ignatius College Prep in Chicago as the Assistant Coach for the boys Junior Varsity team. Prior to his arrival at Saint Ignatius, Shane was a Head Coach for 6th, 7th, and 8th grade boys basketball at Saint Clement School, where he guided his teams to a total record of 56-14 over four seasons. This included a Chicago Catholic Youth League championship along with two CCYL Final Four appearances.
Shane also works numerous basketball camps throughout Chicago, including annual Prospect Camps for the University of Chicago men’s basketball program.
Dennis has a background in sports journalism. He began writing about basketball on ESPN’s former TrueHoop Network, The New York Times Company’s About.com, Sports Illustrated, SLAM, and other basketball outlets.
Dennis’ love for the game led him into teaching, coaching, and mentoring; serving as the Basketball Coordinator for his local CYO parish in New York, training school teams of all grade levels, coaching AAU teams, and running basketball clinics. Before moving to Memphis, he was a coach with Pro Skills Basketball’s Charleston, SC location.
Armand Shoon graduated from Westwood Christian where he was a 1st Team All-State player leading his team to not only their first State Championship appearance, but became the schools first graduate to go on and play Division 1 collegiate basketball.
Armand played at Florida Gulf Coast University. After a successful 2 years playing at a high level, Miami called Shoon back home once again, as he then transferred to STU, where he finished out his career.
After college, Armand got into coaching beginning as the head assistant coach on the #1 nationally ranked FNU team who made it to the final 4. Armand is now the Head Boys Basketball Coach for Coral Gables Senior High and is very excited to lead PSB Miami!
Gabe Barnes attended Frisco Heritage High School (TX) before spending his first two college years at Collin College. He then transferred to The University of Oklahoma where he also began working for the OKC Thunder and assisting with their youth programs.
Gabe currently is an Assistant Varsity Basketball Coach at Casady High School as well as a Director for Point Guard College, also known as PGC.
Coach Washut enters his 12th year coaching High School Basketball and his 6th as head coach at Cactus Shadows. The past five seasons have been record setting as the Varsity Falcons amassed a 90-34 record during that time. Coach will look to hit the 100-win mark during the 22-23 season and become the all-time winningest Boys Basketball coach in the programs history.
Coach Mark Schumaker is entering his 16th season coaching high school basketball and 9th as a varsity coach. The past five years, Coach Schumaker led the Desert Mountain Wolves to five straight playoff appearances. Coach Schumaker has eclipsed over 100 wins and has coached over 17 college level players.
Harvey “Trey” Ray is a native of Thomasville, NC where he graduated from Thomasville High School. During his high school career, he earned the honors of Conference Basketball Player of the Year in 2006, 2 time All Conference in both basketball and football, and 2 time All County in both football and basketball.
After high school, he received his associate degree from Forsyth Technical College and is now working on his bachelor’s degree in Communications, from Winston Salem State University. Currently Trey resides in Winston Salem, NC. He is in his 7thyear as the assistant coach of the varsity basketball team, at Forsyth Country Day, in Lewisville, NC.
CONCLUSION
We have a really incredible group of youth basketball leaders opening these PSB branches in their respective cities, so we couldn’t be more excited for what’s in store!
Adding these 7 new cities and 2 new City Directors now means our organization is in 22 cities across the nation!
