Each week in the “Pick & Pop” series of the PSB podcast, PSB co-founders, Logan Kosmalski and Brendan Winters, discuss and debate a relevant topic in their world of youth basketball.
This week, though, is a bit different than last week’s discussion about youth sports refs as we have a guest host in place of Logan. This week’s guest is Brendan’s sister, Meghan, who was a DI women’s basketball player and coach.
Meghan grew up mostly in the California Bay Area and Denver, CO. She went on to play D1 women’s college basketball at Gonzaga.
Afterward, Meghan ended up as a graduate assistant for the University of Oregon’s women’s basketball team.
After two years, she moved on to take the Director of Operations assistant coaching position with the women’s basketball team at DI Grand Canyon University.
She recently accepted a new position outside of women’s basketball in the marketing department at Grand Canyon.
In this episode, Brendan and Meghan discuss her career in basketball as a player and coach as well as some general topics about girls and women’s basketball.
