Hunter Tyson, a Pro Skills Basketball alum from Charlotte, NC, was recently drafted by the Denver Nuggets, becoming PSB’s first-ever NBA draft pick!
Hunter started playing for PSB Charlotte in middle school.
He was not an “elite” player, but he was very good and he worked really hard.
Hunter continued to work extremely hard over the next few years and had a strong high school career at Piedmont High School in Monroe, North Carolina where he earned a scholarship to Clemson University.
While at Clemson, Hunter had a stellar career. His honors and awards include:

- 2022-23 Finalist for the 2023 Karl Malone Power Forward of the Year Award

- 2021-22 All-ACC Academic Team

At the time of this writing, Hunter had an outstanding first game in the NBA Summer League where he scored 21 points and 5 rebounds.
