JJ Miller, Director
James “J.J.” Miller is a retired professional basketball player turned entrepreneur, mentor, and community leader. After a standout career at East Duplin High School and North Carolina A&T, where he earned a Division I scholarship, became an HBCU All-American, and Hall of Famer, Miller went on to play 15 years of professional basketball across Europe and South America. Known as one of the top guards in every league he competed in, J.J. earned MVP honors, multiple Guard of the Year awards, and European League All-Star recognition.Following his playing career, J.J. transitioned into entrepreneurship and youth development. Today, J.J. serves as the Director of PSB Raleigh, where he continues to share his passion for the game and commitment to developing players on and off the court. A fierce competitor on the court and a devoted role model off it, J.J. Miller exemplifies leadership, perseverance, and service to others.What families sayRaleigh families

What does PSB Raleigh offer?
Youth basketball club teams, clinics and academies for boys and girls in the Raleigh, NC area.
Is Pro Skills Basketball Raleigh a good program for beginners?
Yes. PSB Raleigh clinics and academies welcome new players and teach the fundamentals of basketball. Trained, background-checked coaches lead every session. Club teams hold tryouts and play a full season, so most beginners start with one of these programs first.
What grades can play?
Club teams for grades 3 to 8; clinics for grades 3 to 8; academies for grades 3 to 8.
Does PSB Raleigh have AAU basketball teams?
PSB Raleigh runs club teams, which many families call AAU basketball: tryouts, teams grouped by grade and skill, weekly practices with trained coaches, and games and tournaments through the season. PSB is an independent club program and is not part of the Amateur Athletic Union (AAU).
